We are proud to announce that, of the 114 8Vs ever produced between 1952 and 1954, one quarter of these have been restored and serviced by Strada e Corsa over the past 15 years. Our dedication to the ‘Otto Vu’ – the technically advanced brainchild and product of talented Italian engineers and artisans – resulted in our recognised position as ‘expert leader in the field’ of the desirable Fiat and Siata 8V models.
Worldwide, our customers’ cars have won over 37 important concourse shows (e.g. at Villa d’Este and Pebble Beach), also performing well in endurance events such as the Mille Miglia.
Due to the need to replace worn, damaged or missing parts in our many ‘Otto Vu’ restoration projects, our team of engineers were faced with the challenge of having to develop and re-manufacture new components.
Fortunately, the exposure to many original cars and components has enabled us to study all authentic technical details in great depth, the aim being to re-manufacture new components to original factory specification with a fastidious degree of detail.
In order to realise this goal, more than €550,000 has been invested in technical drawings, 3D scanning and the development, machining and moulding of the many elaborated parts. State-of-the-art materials, advanced casting technology and painstaking assembly resulted in superior quality components, interchangeable with the originals. The expert eye of Strada e Corsa also guarantees an identical presentation as to the factory-made component. Our efforts have led to the foundation of fiat8vparts.com.
